San Benedetto
San Benedetto Mineral Water comes from glaciers in the Dolomites, part of the Italian Alps in North Eastern Italy. After flowing a great distance underground, the water, which was tapped at the surface in ancient times, is now drawn from 1,000 feet below, in an underground basin in the Veneto Plain. This ensures that all its original features are unchanged, and the natural balance of minerals and trace elements that is essential to our well being remains uncontaminated.

San Benedetto  was arguably the original favorite of the Republic of Venice, in vogue with aristocratic Venetian families during the Renaissance. It became known as the San Benedetto Health Water," and was consumed and appreciated for its curative qualities. Without question, San Benedetto is an elite, low-mineral delicacy that carries a 30 milligram per liter punch of Magnesium. The San Benedetto bottle is attractive, and is available in both still and sparkling versions.

San Benedetto  one of Italy's Finest (and by the way, there are over 600 of them) has based its own growth on technological innovation. Today it has one of the largest bottling plants in the world.

Shipping Came To a Halt....
The Frozen North....
Spring finally arrives, and not a minute too soon. Aqua Maestro was backed up with product, as we had to curtail shipping until warmer temperatures. It seemed we couldn't get product delivered, via UPS, or common carrier. Water was freezing and glass was breaking. Shipments are back on track, and it looks like we're good to go for awhile. Below are some images of product backed up in our warehouse. We would also like to thank Berg Water, for sending some images of what they were contending with. Ten feet of snow in places, and record cold temperatures.

There were also a record number of phone calls, complaining of frozen pipes, and interrupted water service, in both municipalities and individual homes. Bottled water in plastic, was the only salvation. Yet many environmental groups continue to try and ban the water bottle, continuing to overlook the good, and the healthy aspects of bottled water.

Another image coming from Berg Water, shows their life line, a ferry, stuck in the ice. It took 3 days and Coast Guard Ice Breaker Louis S. St-Laurant to come to their rescue. The map will give you and indication of where Berg is located. No need to remind you why Aqua Maestro chose Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Did You Know?
Bottled Water May Help Protect
Against Damaged Hair

As the weather warms up and swimming again becomes a daily ritual. Did you know there is a way to limit the damage to your hair from chlorine? Before jumping into that pool, wet your hair down with bottled water. Your hair will absorb the clean water and minimize the absorption of chlorinated water.

B2P ....A New Acronym "Bottles to Pen"
Pilot Pen has a new "green initiative," and is selling a new product. A pen made out of water bottles...(and other recycled plastic). The pen shown above contains 89% post-consumer waste. It even comes with the smooth writing G2 ink.

By The Numbers....
If you like numbers, and can fathom this. Can you estimate how much water it takes to produce the food you consume in one year? The answer is close to 1billion liters. That's 264 million gallons. Wow!

There is more fresh water in the atmosphere than in all of the rivers on the planet combined.

If all of the water vapor in the EarthРІР‚в„ўs atmosphere fell at once, distributed evenly, it would only cover the earth with about an inch of water.

American residents use about 100 gallons of water per day.

It would take six and a half years for the average American residence to use the amount of water required to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool (660,000 gallons).

It takes seven and a half years for the average American residence to use the same amount of water that flows over the Niagara Falls in one second (750,000 gallons).
